Buyer / Full Home Inspection

Your offer has been accepted & now it's time to have the home inspected! We schedule a time to perform the inspection & I arrange property entry with the seller. The inspection usually takes 2 - 4 hours to complete. Upon completing the inspection, we walk-through & around the property together to review my findings. If you’re unable to attend the inspection we can review my findings via phone, video call, etc… In any case, you’ll receive your inspection report via email the same day as the inspection.

From the roof to the lower level or basement, all accessible areas are inspected (see specific inspection items below). I'll also show you where various water, gas and electrical shut-offs are located.  Each home inspection includes moisture testing, carbon monoxide monitoring & thermal infrared imaging. I also use a drone that allows me to inspect areas that are not safely accessible. Most inspections include a “BuildFax Report”, which details various permits pulled at this particular property. Armed with the information from the inspection, you'll be able to make an educated buying decision & potentially negotiate price and/or repairs. See the FAQ’s page for more buyers home inspection information.
