The Saint Paul Truth-in-Sale of Housing disclosure report is an visual overview of the building components and fixtures. This required report is to inform prospective buyers of the observed condition of a dwelling at the time of the evaluation. The disclosure report is intended to provide basic information to the home buyer and the seller prior to the time of sale.

 

Maplewood Truth-in-Sale of Housing (TISH)

The purpose of the Maplewood truth-in-housing program is to protect the public health, safety and welfare and to promote decent, safe and sanitary dwelling accommodations in the city. To help accomplish this, Maplewood requires the disclosure of housing information and defects as a condition at the time of sale.

South St. Paul Time-of-Sale (TOS) Inspections

The City of South St. Paul has a Time-of-Sale Housing Inspection Program.  The City Council established by ordinance  the properties that require an inspection under this program.  The program is intended to enhance the supply of safe housing and to prevent the deterioration of the overall housing in the city.
